Hello! Welcome to my Blog

Hi I'm Kitty and I'm a 18 year old art enthusiast. I've started this blog in order to explore my passion for interpreting art. The beauty of visual culture is that there is no right answer when it comes to how art effects you. This blog will explore the different ways I have looked at art, and how my opinions have developed over time as I head towards an Art History degree. My hope is that, by reading how I look at art, I will encourage you to find meaning in the culture around you. Art is a great way for people to express their emotions and opinions, yet it can also capture a way of life, therefore I believe we must engage in this frame of mind when looking at art.

My blog title comes from this idea of encouraging a new wave of thinkers, in hope that we will never loose sight of the importance of engaging with art, and what artists have to express.
